4 weeks post hysterectomy: Bulging Swollen Pressure in Vagina

I had my LAVH almost 4 weeks ago and I have the feeling of bulging swollen pressure in the vagina area.

My Dr. says everything feels normal to him however, it does not feel normal to me. My main concern is that the Dr. has me going back to work next week and I can't even sit!

I am super frustrated. I have tried blue ice packs between my legs while sleeping which does give me some relief. Does anyone have any advice?

Re: 4 weeks post hysterectomy: Bulging Swollen Pressure in Vagina

No advice, but my vagina still swells too. It was really bad the day after the exam so I called the doc scared something was wrong. He said it was probably worse/ more swollen because of the exam and it would go away. The next day was much better and now I just have occasional swelling. If you just had the exam this might explain your swelling too. I hope you feel better soon!

Oh, Ibuprofin is a anti inflammatory, that seemed to help me a bit, you could give it a try.
