Hysterectomy: September 29th, 2014

4 days post hysterectomy: Day one home from hospital

I am 47 years old and after 4 days in the hospital following an abdominal hysterectomy. I am feeling a lot of soreness in my abs after walking and either going up and downstairs. Is this normal ?

Wow, you were in the hospital a long time! I hope you're doing well. I did not really get soreness, but from what others have said, it is normal to get sore after walking etc. I hope you have a smooth recovery.
