Bleeding???

I have a really weird question and it probably sounds so stupid but here it is- After a hysterectomy I was told that you bleed for a while after, where does that bleeding come from if you have no Uterus? and How long does it last??

Bleeding???

Yup...that's what my doc told me yesterday. He said it is just part of the healing process. Just light pinkish drainage for a week or so from stitches and healing tissues.

Bleeding???

You do get cut inside where they're disconnecting stuff, so like with any cut you bleed. I only had blood the first couple of days, and it was nowhere near as bad as the periods I'd been having. Haven't had any bleeding since then which is SO NICE! Hope you're as lucky but remember everyone is different.
