Pre-op pampering & prep purchases

Hi, all:

I am scheduled for Da Vinci robot surgery on 2/29. Plan is to keep my cervix and ovaries, but will allow docs to override that depending on what they find. I've been shopping for pre-op pampering goodies and supplies! Here's what I've found:

Soma lingerie (it's a division of Chico's). The stores can be found at some major shopping malls. Go to the clearance rack in the back and raid it for pre-op and post-op comfy clothes. I got a $79 soft pink robe for $15. <No commercial links as per the site TOS, please>

Discovery store (online). I found funny, cute Meerkat house slippers for $15. <No commercial links as per the site TOS, please>

Tar-j (aka Target) you can get your Magnesium Citrate 10 oz. bottle bowel prep solution for around $1!

Also, I have ordered the book "Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster" which many on this forum have recommended. I got that for around $5 <No commercial links as per the site TOS, please>

Thanks for ALL of your support!

I also went to the bath & body works (body shop works too) and stocked up on yummy smelling shower gels, shampoo, lotions, and scented candles. Made me extra excited to haul my lazy butt up the stairs to take a shower each day. I may look dreary this week, but I sure smell good. Strongly recommend "Japanese Cherry Blossom" and "Brown Sugar & Fig". Mmmmmmm.....

Oh - forgot - For a really great robe - go to <No commercial links as per the site TOS, please>
and look in the "Sale" section for "The Sweetest Softest Robe On Earth". They are 50% off right now. I got one and it is wonderfully soft and beautiful.

Roboto,

One of the things that I wish I had thought about before surgery was the need for special shower supplies. I take baths most of the time and have a ton of bath pamper items. I had very few shower items. So as soon as I could drive, I went to Bath and Body Works and got all sorts of shower scrubs and gels so that I could make shower more of a special event. I also needed the exfoliating offered by the scrubs as my legs were beginning to look like alligator skin!!
