Hard lump where uterus used to be

I had a TAH and the loss of both ovaries. There was a mass that they thought cancerous. I was blessed as the tumor was benign. Anyway, my surgery was April 30 and it feels like my uterus is still there. I have a hard lump that extends to the left side. My right side is soft (the mass was on the left side). Is this normal? Did anyone else feel firmness after their surgery?

I did not have any masses, however one side definitely feels much worse that the other... I think that it is from where the clamps were and which side the doctor operated from... You are still very early in your recovery.. If it continues to bother you , I would ask your doctor.
