SAH: I caught a cold!!! Surgery on Wednesday!

So sorry you are sick. I had a bad bad cough before my surgery and I was so afraid they were going to cancel my surgery. I was told the same thing about it not going into my chest or running a fever. I also started taking a decongestant cough syrup. Try to drink warm drinks, tea with honey ect. Make sure to take your chapstick and Hall's Cough Drops with you. You will welcome them. They went ahead with the surgery. I think I just got so stressed over all of this and with Christmas that I was run down. So, try to relax and try to stay away from sick people. I hope everything works out okay for you and you will be well enough to go through with your surgery.

Do a search on Natural Blood Thinners. I think cayenne pepper is a natural blood thinner. I don't even think about the natural things like this. I wouldn't think that you would want to take it before surgery, but you could call your doctor and check on that also. Good Luck again.
