adhesive removal??

I found taking a hot shower and rubbing a bar of soap or body wash over the adhesive in a circular motion helped dissolve a lot of it. The nurse had told me not to worry about the incision and put soap right on it which I did. She said many infections come from people afraid to touch their incision while healing. This was a few weeks out from mastectomy with reconstruction using abdominal tissue - I went through many rolls of tape.
