DH says I smell...

I'm also worried that people at work think I stink. I don't smell anything either. He also says when I'm done using the bathroom, he can smell my "scent".

This is so embarrassing...I'm not sure what to do. Obviously I shower and use Deo...

Anyone have any suggestions? Totally embarrassed about this.

Re: DH says I smell...

I have the same problem. Don't know what to do about it. I bath as well, but it doesn't seem to help. Although, my bladder leaks so that's another problem to complicate the "smell" I have to wear poise pads.

Re: DH says I smell...

Hello ladies - I too struggled with the "post op" odor. It passed about 2 months post op. Gyn said it was chemical secretions from the anisthetic and meds. As well, you may not be seeing blood but there is vaginal discharge that it dry blood etc so bound to have an odor.

I found baby powder on my torso helped to camoflage the odor. But dont get it in your incision.

Re: DH says I smell...

My OP was back in May so I won't have to worry about incisions, lol...I guess I will try what a I read in a previous thread about vaginal wipes and powder, and I guess I will put on Deo a few times a day. This is really embarrassing to deal with...I'm having a hard time with this one.

Re: DH says I smell...

You shouldnt be experiencing any vaginal odour so a Doctor's check is essential. I smell too, my BO is rank, my urine much stronger, and in the mornings a sweaty old man smell. It is very distressing. I am using lots of fluid, a nice clean diet, a good deoderant and have gone to more frequent showers even though it dries my skin. Some of it is my enhanced sense of smell because of the brain changes from SM, but my body does smell different. Powder is not good in the vaginal area, do you have Femfresh spray over there as it may help during the day, even a quick wash at work may help, maybe breathable panty liners changed frequently. I know how much this can affect confidence so I wish you all the best in getting it under control. But please, a Doctor's check first.
