Am I being A Worry Wort???

I posted this question anlong with some off topic stuff in the chit-chat forum but would like as many opinions as possiable.

I think my jitters about the Hysto are starting to fade a bit now.
I am more worried about this back surgery I am having on Monday. Does anyone know if there is more of a danger when you have two surgeries that close together? I keep telling myself if there were the DR's wouldn't be doing it, but, I would feel better if someone else agreed

Should I ask them to postpone the Hysto or just get it all done at once?? What would you all do??

I am leaving for two days for my Grandfathers funeral but I will check in before I go and when I come back. Any opinions would help alot. Kinda like Back-up ya know LOL
Thanks Everyone!

I have no idea about having two surgeries close together (I had two at 6 wks apart, no problem), but do be sure your gyn knows everything possible about what's up with your back. Are you having an abdominal, or vaginal hyst? Make sure (maybe get the two docs talking) that the position they put you in for they hyst doesn't do anything to hurt your back. If you need any special meds (for your back), or any special nursing care or physical therapy, make sure to discuss all that too, so they can take good care of you at the castle.

Best of luck on both accounts!

Hello

I think your Drs would not do your surgeries so close if it was not safe. But you may find that you are really groggy after the second one due to the anestetic. I had 2 surgeries 4 months apart and found it hard on the body. But it was well worth it to get them both over with.

Good luck

Am I being A Worry Wort???

Miss Ducky....

oh castle buddy of mine~~~

you've heard this before from me -

CALL YOUR GYN & ask him. Make sure he is totally aware of what's going on with your health, okay? Never hurts to verify with him. You can also call your back surgeon & ask his opinion. Why not? I'm into second opinions.

Have a safe trip!!!
