all done!
Well Just to let all of you people waiting to visit the castle that I am home from it. I went in Friday early and do not remember a thing! I do remember some cold ice chips in the recovery room but that is all. I have no recollection of being rolled into my room. It was a breeze. I had a total vaginal hysterectomy, tubes, ovaries, and all. I had a fibroid growing on the outside of the uterus and it was bigger than my uterus. I spent one nite, took my pain meds every four hours. The biggest problem was the lack of sleep being in the hospital, a very noisy place. My stomach is not that swollen, I am doing too much, so I must slow down. Be positive! No nausea, no gas, just incisional pain that is taken care of with pain meds. Good luck!!!!
