At Hospital in Recovery Now

In recovery now from DaVinci hysterectomy for adenomyosis, kept overuse!
It feels a lot like a bad period but nothing too awful. Had a breast reduction in '13 that was gawdawful compared to this!!! A little drowsy, but feeling so relieved. Doctor took a picture of the adenomyosis uterus and I am SO glad it's out! It was spotty, boggy, and heavy. Hallelujah!!!

I'm glad to hear you're on your way to a great recovery! I'm 2 days post op. Still have pain and cramping especially when I sit up. Trying to rest as instructed and take short walks up and down the hallway. I haven't spotted anymore pink since I left the hospital. I'm wearing a sports bra because I noticed my breasts are tender. I'm just trying to think positive since my doctor suspects ademyosis and said that was probably causing more pain than the fibroids. She'll know for sure when pathology comes back but my cervix was really thick and inflamed. I wish everyone the best recovery possible! The things us as women have to go through!
