Ladies, might I throw in that vit C, vit A, and zinc and protein are needed for tissue healing and those are already possibly low just from healing from a hyst? I know I work in a pretty standard medical setting and even there we check levels (don't think you need that) and give them. Maybe it would be worth a try to see if it helps, I'm sure its not the cause or a treatment but may speed some tissue healing? Also there are "barrier" products (creams, sprays, etc) used for external peri fissures to "fill in" and assist healing as well as give some pain relief. I think they could give you some relief, but doubt a GYN would be aware of them. Nurse skin/wound specialists deal with those issues and products and could be a better resource. I know its not identical but in your case sounds better than what they have offered so far. I hope this info helps you a bit, although its in a different direction from where you have been pointed it could be worth consideration. If not, sorry I could not be of more help, I hear that you are at the end of your rope.
