((( Evelyn ))), I agree that most of us have days like that. It could be caused from your problems (I'm sure that they don't help), it could be from the stress of waiting for your surgery. Probably a combination of everything.
I agree that when you feel that way, a rest could be a good thing for you. Take a nap, have a cup of tea or coffee - whatever will help you get through it.
I feel much better since my hyst - but I do still feel better some days than others. Must be part of getting older
Hang in there, you'll be a princess soon.

hi,
I feel the way you describe all the time, I think. Lots of cramping and one ovary has been more crampy than before. dh has noticed it too, lack of energy and that I say I'll do all this stuff but never really get to it. And I take lots of naps. I finally stopped saying that I'll do anything. After a while he has finally accepted that I don't have any energy and hopes the surgery will help. I'm hoping this will get better afterwards, too. You're not alone

thanks girls
I was thinking I was lifting things to much or maybe my ovary is really getting mad at me. I think they ( parts )want to stay, but I'm thinking, I'm not going to miss them at ALL!!!!!
I have this big list but if I do not finish it, I do not finish it. I have my front Yard looking good for the pampered princess to come..... You all are so sweet to post back, its nice to feel not all alone..... My friends are not going through this yet, so they do not really get it. I'll just quit pushing so hard to get ready..... and just enjoy the days...
Jeanus I just love your pix with your cat make me smile when I see it.

Evelyn, you are not alone
Have had an increasing number of days with no energy, lack of concentration, etc. Just feel like I can not get moving even though I have things that I want to do. Don't think is depression or mental so I am hoping it improves with my surgery. Is encouragng to read that others have felt like this before surgery also and then felt better afterwards. Hoping al goes well for you with your surgery.

I'm having one of those days today, Evelyn! And like you, I feel pressured to get all of this stuff done before my surgery, and time is running out! But I have to keep telling myself that if I didn't have anything left to do once I recovered, then I'd have no purpose in life! : How's that for rationalizing? It's working for me, anyway! Take time to take care of yourself! I truly believe there's no better prep for surgery than that! ((((Evelyn)))) See you soon on the other side.

Boy did I need this thread!
I'm so glad to read I'm not the only Lady in Waiting that feels like I'm losing it! My surgery is Tuesday, and instead of being more productive to prepare, I feel like I'm less productive than I've ever been! I can't seem to make myself do anything - supposed to be cleaning bathrooms right now and here I am online. The worst thing is my lack of concentration - I did something this week I've NEVER done - I overdrew our checking acct.!! I almost passed out when I realized it, thank goodness I caught it before any checks were returned. Dh was sweet about it - but it just freaked me out because I guess I realized how completely distracted I am. I've been thinking that I'm handling this anticipation alright, but today I feel really, really panicky. I was telling dh I almost wish my surgery was tomorrow, I'm so tired of feeling scared.
