One more cycle to live through and then surgery

I have only one more menstrual cycle to go and then to surgery on Dec 15. I am so awaiting the surgery. Feel miserable. Have the worest PMDD symptoms once again. Feeling angry,bloated,depressed,fatigue,and just plain awful. I am so hoping this hysterectomy will take these symptoms away for good. I can't wait to feel normal. I am nervous about surgery but also excited to feel like my old self.

same here..my surgery is scheduled for Dec 16th and and when I got my "friend" this time the first thing that went through my mind was this is the LAST time I ever have to go through this.. Good luck with your surgery..

OMG! I have MONSTER PMS right now. But I have two more cycles because my date is 1/12/10.

I am also anxious about the surgery but so ready to be pain free and able to be active again.

my DH keeps laughing at me (with me, more like)...he knows i'm beside myself with joy at knowing this will be my last period. *happy dance*

this is the worst PMS ever! I've been all over the place today. I just keep saying, this is the last period...my poor family. Thank God this is the last one because they keep getting progressively worse.

I am with you ladies!! I am due any day now and this will be my last one since surgery is scheduled for 12/11. As odd as it sounds, I am so EXCITED that this will be my last one because I am in agony!

RIP Aunt Flo~ 1982-2009. Can't say I'm all that sad

I had an LAVH/LSO in October, and I remember being where you ladies are now. It seemed like my last period came with a vengeance - pain and bleeding that was horrible! I just kept thinking - Aunt Flo is just ticked off that she's being evicted soon!!

I am now 6 weeks post op and feel great - I don't regret anything about the surgery!

Hang in there ladies - you'll be on the other side before you know it!

My hysterectomy is scheduled for January 5th. I know it's weird but I'm glad I'm having a really yucky, horrible period because it reminds me why I decided to have surgery! It makes me more at peace with my decision.
