losing hair?

anyone lose hair BEFORE their hysteractomy? before hormone replacement?????

I am scheduled for TAH 3/23....I have been loosing my hair for over a month and have 2 good size bald patches and a thrida starting....my husband yells stress but I am not 100%conivnced that it is ONLY stress.
Anyone??

It could very will be stress. But, you might want to talk to your doctor - this may be a symptom of other health problems. Take care and let us know...

lol - I was just telling hubby that my hair loss has stopped since my LAVH surgery 4 1/2 weeks ago. In the past I could always tell when my body was trying (and failing) to ovulate because I would start losing hair at an alarming rate. Maybe your hair loss is hormonal too and Aunt Flo is trying to get her last kicks in before you evict her! lol
