I CAN do this!!!! RIGHT?????

Well here I sit 20 days away from my surgery Wondering if I think I can really do this or not. I am scheduled for a LAVH but may have to have a TAH due to my uterus being "stuck" to my C-Section scar If worse comes to worse and they have to do a TAH, I have been through a C-Section and made it just fine, and even my GYN said recovering from a TAH is very similar to recovering from a C-Section.

So I did it once I can do it again RIGHT!?!?!??
I guess I am just needing some moral support. Anyone feeling super supportive tonight??????

Wishing you all, all my best!!!!!!!!

Hi Lisa!
Yes, you will be fine, which ever procedure your doctor ends up using. I had the TAH, never having had a C-section before and I was just fine. Patience during recovery, I found, was the greatest challenge for me.

Re: I CAN do this!!!! RIGHT?????

Hi Lisa

Mine is on tthe fifth so we are in this together. I had a tube burst from an ectopic pregnancy :wowee:so I also am familiar with the abdominal surgery recovery and assume this will be the same.

Right now I am so stressed I feel like I am living in a dream ... No one can understand the waiting ....

I think it IS the waiting!!!! I will have to wait a total of 5 weeks. That and I am stuck on the couch for a couple days while I am cramping so bad. That is really making time fly!!!!!

So Jeanette you know who I will be bugging once I cross over RIGHT?!?!?!?? Especially since you go 5 days before me!!!

Re: I CAN do this!!!! RIGHT?????

I hope you will be bugging me because I will be there for you on the other side!

I am also cramping up and have NO energy, I usually have tons. I also have this sharp pain on my right side (burst tube) which is worrying me.

Does it seem these symtoms are getting worse because somehow it knows what we are doing? I am so glad to get this done because I could not get away with living like this too much longer!!

Hang in there these days are passing quick each time I count it scares me becuase it is getting close!!
