Hello again Princess Chatters

Heres the latest my TVH has been scheduled for April 25th at 10 am after re-confirming with my doctor I am having my uterus and Cervix removed and my ovaries and tubes will remain provided there are no probs. I do appreciate any personal experiences to give me a more heads up idea on things. Like How were your libidos after cervical removal? Is it still the same? I have enjoyed reading all the castle stories. Im 27 and still very estatic that my life maybe meant for more then buying into stayfree maxis.... seriously i should have owned stock in that company by now. But as i said all help is appreciated and if there is someone who needs a shoulder or is going through the same and just needs to talk i love penpals. I did have my cervix removed along with my uterus. I did however keep my ovaries. I think that libido often has more to do with hormones (ovaries) rather than the cervix itself.

Many women fear that sex will be very different and not as enjoyable without their cervix. I can only tell you my own experience, but sex has never been better!!!! I had alot of endo/adenomyosis ON my cervix, which caused me horrible pain during sex.

I've also seen an increase in my libido since recovering from the surgery. I think it has to do with the fact that sex is no longer painful, and I don't have to worry about bleeding all the time!

We are all different, but I hope that your experience is as good as mine.

It is really good to here that sex can be a lot better after having surgery. It is a big concern of mine, becasue my DH and I have a wonderful sex life and I don't want that to change. I have been really scared thinking that, that aspect of my life would change for the worse.
