3 months post still hurting

It took me a year to finally heal. I had some rather major setbacks in this. Part of that was that I pushed myself way,way too much and boy did I pay for it. It takes time to heal so please listen to your body and rest if you need it. I never realized how hard it could be to heal.

Thanks for your reply. I promise, I am not overdoing it. Only had sex 2X and that was not fun. I am using 2X a week a progesterone vaginal cream which helps. My nemesis is sitting too long at a computer.. After I go to the doctor, I will relax about it and be patient. Seeing other people taking this long is comforting and I really appreciate the support.

I am 3 months post op and also mad! I NEVER would have had this surgery if I had known it was going to be like this! I had the top Doc in the Uro-Gyn. field and no complications, but I still am hurting and feel I can't do ANYTHING that involves much walking or standing..Sitting isn't any great relief either. I still have Christmas decorations up, as I can't make all the trips up and down the stairs! I realize I'm OLD, 63, but I thought I'd feel better by now! I had everthing taken out and a bladder suspension as well..I'm curious what your Dr. told you as far as how long it takes to heal....I'm sorry for venting but no one in my life gets it! I guess I'm having a pity party!!!
