still awake and surgery early in morning!
Hi
One last time because I am going to the castle in the morning. I am scared and nervous. Feeling like I have not gotten everything done. I did the grocery shopping today and have given my Aunt her bath (since I can't do it for quite a few weeks and she only likes me to do it she will have to "sponge bathe" until I can help unless I can talk her into someone else lol) anyway she is crying because she wants to go with me an can't.
It just seems that everything will fall apart when I am not here. I do so much and have so many depending on me its hard to go.
I know it sounds funny but I will even miss my dogs!
My poor dh will only have my best friend there because none of my selfish relatives will be.
I cannot believe that they don't care at all. oh well, I guess I am better off without them they probally would have started something anyway.
Please give me some encouragement because it would be soooooo easy to say forget it!
No I would not do that but what a thought.
Thanks for all of your support. I wish I could afford to move up on this site but I can't right now but when I can I certainly will!
Thanks
Dessie

I didn't sleep the night before either- I was a nervous wreck! I can't tell you not to be, but I can tell you that once it's all over you'll be so relieved. I hope your recovery is a smooth one- mine has had its ups and a few little minor downs- like soreness and being tired. But, all in all, it's been better than I ever expected- especially the night before!!! So, rest some if you can, do some meditation type things to relax and next thing you know tomorrow it will be over. I'll be thinking of you.... Lydia

I didn't sleep much the night before either; the only sleep I *did* get was Ambien assisted!
Tomorrow morning is a new beginning for you......It might be rough for a while at first, but as you heal, I'm confident you will be glad you took this step. Waiting stinks.

still awake
The night before my surgery, I was up until 1:00 AM trying to line up things for my job: e-mails to secretary, notes to business manager, etc. for while I would be away. It got later and later and was then 2:00 AM. Since I had to get up at 4:00 in order to shower, dress, travel to arrive at the hospital by 6:00 AM for 7:30 surgery, I decided it wasn't important for me to get much sleep. I would be sleeping most of the day ahead, anyway....and did. I just relaxed and packed my bag for the trip, then went to bed. I was so ready for this surgery, and was actually looking forward to having it behind me. Everything went perfectly and I hope yours will go that way, as well!
