TAH Gas after hysterectomy!

Any tips for dealing with gas?!?!?!

Heating pad. They fgsve warmed blankets to put on my tummy and back to relieve the gas .

A heating pad on my tummy or standing in a hot shower makes the gas move immediately.

I underestimated just how bad the gas pain would be. Like others said - movement, and heat both help. Also gas x. Good luck...

I did too. I didn't realize how bad it would be. I am feeling relief today. I have been up moving as much as possible without nausea. I think the peppermint tea helped, too.
