I Can't Wait!!!!!
In the weeks since I have scheduled this surgery I have second guessed myself. Mark it up to nerves. But that all changed this past Saturday night. I had made plans to attend an outing on sat. night. Aunt Flo was not supposed to be here for another 5 days. But Friday afternoon I could slowly feel the pain coming on. By Friday night I was in misery praying that the bleeding would come so the pain would stop. Not so lucky. Spent all day Sat. on couch with heating pad and drugs.
Come Sat. night I was feeling somewhat better. About an hour after I arrived at my outing the pain was so bad I was literally sick to my stomach and close to passing out. Had to have someone drive me back home where I spent the next hour in a hot bath trying to get to the point where I could walk. Pain let up about 11:00 and was able to get approx. 3 hours of sleep before I was woke up by the pain. Spent rest of night on couch in severe pain crying. DH woke up to find me in a ball on the floor crying. Made me go to the hospital.
Guess who showed up when they wanted to take a urine sample? You guessed it Aunt Flo. Two large clots followed by flooding of two pads. Haven't had this since the ablation. Of course the urine sample couldn't be used because of the blood so they had to put a catheter in to take the sample to rule out UTI. One demerol shot, a prescription for Vicodin, and an hour later I was on my way home.
Never have I felt so sure about something. I cannot wait for this. I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!!!!!
Sorry for the ranting but I had to get this off my chest and knew you all would understand. The outing was a scavenger hunt so not only did I let my team down when I left but my parents let their team down to drive me home. I am so glad this will not control my life any longer after this month.
Give me a NO AUNT FLO!!!!!

I Can't Wait!!!!!
I know the feeling! I never thought I'd be so eager to have surgery. It's got to get better than this. I feel I will be a new person with much more freedom to live my life. One more period to go! I'm wishing it would be late, so I wouldn't have to have a period at all before my surgery.

I'm so sorry you're hurting and missed the fun of the scavenger hunt. I hope you are feeling better soon and the time until your surgery passes quickly for you. Hang in there!

I Can't Wait!!!!!
Thanks for the replies. I'm just so aggravated at this. It's been so long since I've felt normal. I just want this over and done with. The thought of being put under scares me to death, but the thought of dealing with this for another 20 years frightens me even more.
You all are great!
