Lupron Depot

Hello, I'm new here! I'm so glad I found this group!! This is going to be my first major surgery (scheduled 9/21) and I was freaking out!!! But after getting the booklet and reading some of the posts, I feel a lot better!!
Anyway, I just had Lupron Depot 3mth injection to reduce the size of fibroids before my surgery. ( I have multiple large fibroids-biggest one is a grapefruite size.) I'm also taking Norethindrone tablet to help me with menopausal symptoms. So far, I haven't had any hot flashes yet, but I'm tired all the time and craving sweet big time!!? LOL!!
I was wondering if anyone had this shot, and if it helped to reduce the size?? And if it did, how much of difference did it make???
