Re: pelvic exam

I'm 2 weeks behind you, so I'm glad you asked the question! I go for my 1 and hopefully only follow up on Aug 9th and I'm sure it will include a little look see. Good Luck with yours!

Re: pelvic exam

I already had my 6 week check up and it wasn't bad! I was relieved to find out my cuff was healed and all looked well! No need to stress! Lol

Re: pelvic exam

I go on the 5th for my check up. My surgery was on 15th so I was thinking its a bit soon for Dr to be doing anything down there. Has anyone else had exam at 3 weeks? I'm very nervous

Re: pelvic exam

My doctor had a lookyloo when I was around the 3 week mark because I was having some orange spotting. I just asked her to be really gentle, and it wasn't painful at all. She even felt my cuff (where they sew up your vagina near where your cervix used to be), and said it all looked good.
I have my 5.5 week check up on Wednesday and I'm nervous as heck about that too.

I had my first apt at 2 weeks. My Dr. just talked to me and looked at my incision (have abdominal bikini incision) to see how it was healing. I had no bleeding or other issues so that's all she did. I think she would've taken a look if I had been having some spotting or anything (since my cervix was removed) to make sure everything was ok! Don't worry! It'll be ok and you will leave there knowing you are healing properly! Hope you're recovering well!

Re: pelvic exam

I had a post op check last week after three weeks post op and it wasn't bad at all. Easy peasy, no need to worry. I didn't have any discomfort.
