10 weeks post hysterectomy - fallen and it hurts ?!

I had a full abdominal hysterectomy on 23rd October. Returned to work yesterday - doing reduced hours - tired but all ok apart from loo issues still, but tonight I squatted down to get something out of a bottom cupboard and keeled over backwards - twisted to the right side and landed with a thud.... I now have a sharp pain in my left hand side - I know you are not doctors but do u think I've just stretched or pulled something - it's not bad enough for a hospital trip but it is hurting .... Any advice please

The thing to keep in mind is that you are still recovering from major surgery. Falling over and landing awkwardly can create that additional stress upon the healing body even at 10 weeks. If you can maybe take ibuprofen or tylenol perhaps try that along with some icepacks along that side to see if provides any relief. Though perhaps putting in a call to your surgery doctor or even your GP wouldn't hurt.
I know I have one or the other or even both if I needed.
