Lsh

HELLO EVERYONE!...Gotta love the smileys..lol!

I'm 36 yeards old and had the LSH. Prior to the surgery I bled so much...clots. No matter what pills my GYN prescribed for me the bleeding just would not let up. I even had two DNCs and that didn't help. He scheduled my surgery three times, but I kept backing out. I'm blessed with two daughters, ages, 14 and 7 and I was sure I didn't want anymore children. However, as soon as he told me about needing that surgery...i freaked. So i kept postponing the surgery. It wasnt until I passed out in my bathroom and my seven year old daughter came to my rescue that I decided to have the surgery. I had the surgery on Feb. 21st 2011 and my recovery was pretty good. However, I'm always bloated... my breast stays tender and my skin is breaking out. Prior to the surgery I was taking yasmin birth control pills.

I'm seriously considering taking the yasmin again. Is that a good idea? I've already contacted my GYN; he will let me know monday!

Re: Lsh

If you still have your ovaries then they can cause pre menstrual type symptoms even with the uterus removed. Your doctor might want to put you on something to help with this.

Re: Lsh

Yeah, I have pre-menstrual symptoms even worst now than before my LSH. My doctor put me back on yasmin birth control pills today. I'm praying they work. Thanks so much for responding!
