OH NO... surgery postponed....

I went today to have my pre op lab done for Wednesday Feb 11 surgery (TAH/BSO) and since my throat was a little "tickly" I stopped to see my family doctor. I found out I have a sinus infection, low grade fever and scratchy throat. She sent me to see my surgeon (after giving me antibiotics, decongestant and nasal spray) and they are postponing my surgery for one week.

UGGH. I just had my self ready for this week - not next week! Today I was supposed to shop and clean and cook... But I feel tired and achy - so I am just going to bed.

Oh man! I'm so sorry you had to cancel. It is hard when we get all ready mentally to get this done, and then have to cancel. My surger is tomorrow and I've been on pins and needles because DH has been sick, and I've been so scared I'll catch it. So far so good.

At least you only has to postpone 1 week. That's better than having to wait another month!

((( Mary ))) I know that you're disappionted in having to postpone ytour surgery. But, it is for the best. You really need to be as healthy as possible going into this surgery. I'll be praying that you get well and can go forward as planned this time.
