At 7 months I still am swollen. What you can do is get a button extender, it's a piece of elatic with a button on it and will give you another 2 inches. But yeah clothes with TAH are still difficult even this far out, so go the op-shops.

I work in a professional office, too, and will be going back to work on January 5th. I'm not into wearing dresses either and really not into scaring the guys with whom I work.
I was lucky and hit on a sale of dress pants at $10 a pair so I bought 5 pair 2 sizes larger than what I normally wear. When I'm finally able to get back into my regular pants I'm going to donate the new ones to a free store for women needing dressy clothes to get back into the work force.
I'm still wearing jammy pants right now though. Cute as they are, there's no way I'm even going to suggest to my boss I'll need to wear them at work.

I hit a sale at NYC (New York & Comany) I love that store because I am tall and can get tall pants there. Anyway, they have a lot of knit pants there. I have 2 pull on with wide waist band that sits lower... mid rise? Anyway, they are just below my belly button. They are SOOOO comfy so I went back a week before surgery and looked for 2 more. But didnt find the colors I wanted but found a sale on knit pants that zip, and look dressier. The key is the knit, and mid rise for me. I normally dont get these because they pill up. Anyway, they are great for a dress pant substitute. I am sure with after christmas sales you should be able to find something. I have been wearing them, I am only an LAVH but still the gentle pressure of the wide band with the knit fabric and forgiveness of swelly belly , oh I love it. I admit I am blessed to be able to be a bit more casual, but I could show up in court too so not too bad in dressy.

Well I ve decided to just wait the entire 6 wk limit since they wrote me off the entire time. Its up to me anyways right? Right now by mid afternoon I waddle like a hippo and I m not a light weight to begin with. Im replacing the sewed on buttons on my pants with a dungeree button with a shaft and im gonna try and look for those extenders, if not i know how to use a rubber band on it lol.
