Stressed

Anyone near their date that seems to be getting more stressed? The closer I seem to get the worse my kids seem to get with fighting and being messy. Reports cards came home with some not so glowing reports. My job is insane..The girl Im training to do my work has called out 2 times and hasnt learned anything at all. I have actually trained someone else in the office and they picked it up right away. Nothing seems to be going right at all. I am starting to rethink my decision about getting out of the castle quickly, maybe a few days away from it all might do me some good. Im starting to feel the workds biggest *itch!!!

Calgon take me away!!!!!

I was just gonna post a very similar thing! My surgery is still further away than yours (Dec. 7th), but in the last week or so it seems that everything is getting exponentially worse! I'm tired and dizzy all the time (missing a lot of work) and the doc says that other than the iron I'm on already there is not much more he can do right now. I'm pms-y beyond belief and I don't know how my poor dbf is hanging in there! I'm not somone who ever really had pms before, but all of a sudden I'm soooo sensitive about everything!! (And can it even be called "pre" menstrual syndome when I actually HAVE my period constantly? lol) I have lost all patience with dealing with the logistics of the bleeding - I'm sick of tampons, and don't even feel like having sex (whereas before we just put down a towel and went for it). I can't wait for the surgery!!!!

hugs,
Lori

Ugh!

Good Grief! I'm in the same boat. I've got a ton of stuff I've got to do before December 17... that's my last day at work. December 14th is my last day at school. I've also got to train someone to take over for me. I have interviews on Wednesday. Gosh! I hope I can find a reliable and competent person to leave my stuff with.

I'm move some of my big file cabinets out of my office and move a second desk in. That way I can be right there when I train them. I'm getting new equipment and they will get my old stuff. Then there is school. I've got reports to write, speeches to write and give, quizes to study for, finals to take. Good Grief!

You know, it is amazing, but I just had a similar conversation with my girlfriend next store. Nothing at work is going right - NOTHING - the people I am training to take over just aren;t getting it and even though my boss knows I am leaving he just continues to pile things up on me to do. Also, DH is pretty grumpy these days, not his nature either. I think he is stressing too but too macho to admit it. I have two more weeks, and I am beginning to feel that I will get nothing accomplished at home or at work. Uggg!
Not to mention my period is coming, but thank goodness it will be the last one.
The job is really the problem though. One of the docs I work with asked when I will be back - he seems to think 4 weeks is adequate because then of course when I'm there his job is easier. I plan on staying out as long as it takes to feel better. I am hoping 6 - 8 weeks. I don't really care if they like it or not.
The waiting is the worst.
Bring on the chocolate!

Dear LIW...my TVH was Nov 11 so I'm 4 days post op. I have had little to no pain...just discomfort. Went in on my period and came out with only next to spotting to stop to nevermore. I'm tired, but so glad I did this. Today was the toughest day only because I've felt so good and today I was really short of breath and just plain wrung out. The nurse who called to check on me said that's just the anesthesia wearing off and my body taking over. REST REST REST DRINK DRINK DRINK and know that the waiting is truly the hardest part of all. I know it's hard, but try to relax and let people help you. Focus on how good you will feel when the healing is past and your life is truly yours and not governed by pain and periods. We punctured princesses have a special place in our hearts for you LIW. Praying for you and looking forward to seeing you on the other side.

Thank you all for your support and to everyone going thru the same emotional roller coaster at least we know that the ride will stop soon.
