I am going to have LAVH the 12th. He wants to take everything because of hyperplasia and it being estrogen driven. The hard part is that this has just happened over 2-3 wks. and the main thing is I really just want everything to be ok from the surgery. I am learning alot and will want to ask alot I know. I would appreciate your prayers that things would be ok. I talked to the nurse today and she said that I may go home the next day. I have a 1 1/2-2 hr. drive and she said that I might want to stay in town another day and that when I did go home I would need to stop halfway and get out and walk. So what do y'all think about doing that drive the next day. I know that I will be crazier the closer it gets I have anxious moments now when I think about it. Thanks sisters

Is there any possibility of a friend helping with the driving? Where are you located at maybe someone can recommend a car service near your home. I would even look at the possibility of paying for a taxi ride. just some suggestions.

Hi Sadies,

Prayers and {{{Hugs}}} to you!!!

I am assuming someone else is driving you? If so, getting out half way to walk a bit sounds like a good compromise. If not, I would definitely play it by ear and see how you feel. Either way, You have no way of predicting how you will feel and if travelling even 1 1/2 hours will feel. It seems like it would almost be prudent to plan for both options and see which is best when the time comes.

Good luck to you and I will keep you in prayer.

Take good care

Thanks ladies,
My husband will be driving and I think it is a good idea to have plans to stay if I need to. The nurse said to get out halfway to walk whenever I made the drive home because of clots and to keep moving is the best thing. You girls will be in my prayers
