Re: Upcoming DaVinci Hysterectomy scarred to death

I had the divinci surgery 3 weeks ago today. Feeling a ton better. My surgery was at 9:30 am took about 2 hours. I stayed the night per my dr just to make sure pain was under control. I was very nauseous actually had a horrible night due to horrible nurses. Just wanted to go home asap. Sorry to be negitive Nelly surgery wasn't too bad and recovery has been OK. Just remember to take your pain meds on time and drink lots of water. I was taking colace for stool softener still was constipated so I had to take milk of mag. That helped tremendously. Rest..rest...rest is my best advice. You will do fabulous!! Take care and keep in touch with this website it is what got me thru it!! Lots of great advice xoxo

Upcoming DaVinci Hysterectomy scarred to death

Hi there. I know how you feel. I'm scheduled to have mine on July 21st. Although my doctor seemed very optimistic, I'm very nervous.
I hope all goes well for you. ❤

Re: Upcoming DaVinci Hysterectomy scarred to death

I had one IV for mine. Went home the next morning. I've felt great ever since surgery. I had to go in at 10 weeks for silver nitrate but that was very easy too. I'm glad I had this done!

Re: Upcoming DaVinci Hysterectomy scarred to death

I had Da Vinci 3 weeks ago. I was beyond nervous the night before surgery. I can honestly tell you that it was not bad at all. I also had 2 IV's and surgery lasted 2 hrs 45 mins I did stay overnight which I am glad that I did. Felt great by day 3. My doctor is requiring me to stay out of work for 6 six weeks due to the type of job I have.
