LSH robot assisted good decision for me

Yesterday at 5:30 am I had a laparoscopic robot assisted supracervical hysterectomy and I was home by 3:00 yesterday afternoon. I was eating, walking, and in minimal pain and I am still doing well on day two. I have four incisions in my abdomen about an inch in length. My pain is well managed and it really just feels like I did a ton of sit ups. This procedure was definitely the best decision for me. I am 25, have a small child, and don't have the time to be down for months recovering. I made the decision to have this procedure with my gynocologist to improve my quality of life after 3 months of bleeding and a lifetime of cycts, irregular cycles, and pain. I would definitely recommend considering a robot assisted LSH I never in a million years thought I would have been able to go to Wal-Mart the day after my hysterectomy but I did today. I have been taking it easy and resting most of the time, but overall I feel really good. I feel like this was one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding my body and with the help of my doctor I feel I made the right decision in the type of surgery I had.
