2+ weeks out/bleeding w/activity
Hello all!
Had a LAVH - BSO on january 10th - everything went very well, was released the next day, saw my dr. on the 17th, he lifted all restrictions except the lifting. I have been trying to be a little more active each day, which results in bleeding, not spotting. I will then stay in bed for a day and it subsides. today i decided i should try Walmart. just for an hour, was fine for a few hours afterwards then the flood gates opened up. I am also passing huge clots - bright red blood. Has anyone experienced this?? and yes i am monitoring it and will go to ER if it dosen't subside. Hope someone has some info! Thanks!

Hi hujomouse
This is a concern to me just because I have seen others post about passing large clots and it often has meant the cuff has come undone. Please don't wait too long to call the dr if this continues, especially the clots.
I can't say what is happening in your case, but I hope you'll call right away if this continues. Listen to your body and don't do more than it allows you to do without pain or bleeding. I think you are being sent a message that this is too much for you at this point in your recovery.
Keep us posted on how you are doing.
's, Rita

Did you push the ? I did at two week at Target and my spotting increased big time but I did not have any clots but did have cramps and pain up my vagina. I called my doctor and was told that pushing the was as bad as the , I was also told that I should walk no more that 30 minutes at a time than rest. I have built up to 3 30 minute walks and will add 15 minutes about every other day.
Please keep a close eye on your bleeding. Take care of yourself. Happy healing to you!

I would definately call the dr! Mine told me that if I passed ANY clots, I was to call immediately. This could be a sign of some problem...no matter how big or small, always better to be safe than sorry! Please don't let this continue....if you can't get ahold of the dr..then by all means, go to the ER.

Hello again!
Thank you all for your concern and input!! It is Monday now and I seem to be doing ok. I went to ER and was there for NINE HOURS!!!GRRRRRRR!! They did pelvics, ultra sounds etc. (all a few hours apart.)I am not sure if they were that busy or what. Long story short, I was bleeding at the incision site (vaginal hsyt) They weren't sure why, but after they packed me for about 45 minutes, it seemed to stop the bleeding. I checked into the hospital at noon, and they decided to pack me around 7pm. What a circus!! I guess that's why they call it "practicing medicine" I am resting now, kind of afraid to do anything!!! Thank you for all responses I got, Thank god for this site,It really helps to talk to people the can understand from personal experience. I am on my way to full recovery now.....I hope! Take care!!
