24 hours and away to the castle I go

Ahhhh! My time to become a queen is almost up. I go to the castle tomorrow. And I'm getting a little more nervous as the hours go by. I have everything done and maybe I've just been thinking about the whole thing way too much.

24 hours and away to the castle I go

Get out of the house, go see a movie, visit a friend, go have lunch. Today will be a very hard day.

The day before my surgery I kept thinking "in 24 hours I'll be____" whatever my mind was telling me. At noon I called a friend of mine and we walked around the mall, went to a craft store, had lunch and then I came home around 5:00pm. Having that distraction for a few hours helped me immensely.

Your feelings of nervousness are very normal, how can we not be nervous before surgery? Try to relax, do something nice for yourself today!

It'll all be over soon and you'll be over in the post op section! I'll think of you has I GO BACK to work tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about that.

I worked the day before my surgery so that kept me occupied until my family came down that evening. I didn't have much time to be nervous, but I did wake up at 4:00 a.m. and took a shower since there wasn't anything else I could do before I had to be at the hospital at 6:00. No breakfast and no coffee! I was nervous, too, but am SO glad I had the surgery!
