No appetite 1mo post op? Hello Waistline!

Am I alone in this? Its literally taken me 2 days to eat a Whopper Scotty brought home for me yesterday. I am withering away to nothing!! And add insult to hysterectomy, I now have a literal DENT in my tummy where my uterus used to be attached with endo to my abdomen. REAL NIIIIIIICE. Not so much. I can handle the gas, the discharge, the odor, the lethargy, but I cannot deal with the lack of appetite and cavernous hole slowly appearing on my body.
Just a side note, dont watch Real Housewives of Atlanta, it just makes you feel hideous and unfit. *sigh* I woke up on a hormonal high and seem to just have hit a hormonal low. and Ive only been up for 3 hours.

Re: No appetite 1mo post op? Hello Waistline!

i had the opposite problem.. all i wanted to do was chow down...
and i haven't gotten over it still!

sorry to hear that you are feeling badly about yourself......i am sure that you will get your appetite back......

i am sorry you are on a hormonal low......

my hormones have been acting up a bit lately too.. one minute i feel like laughing and another minute like crying.......

but i remember how it was right after the hyster.. your hormones do get a lot better..... it just takes a little while for them to get sorted out!

hugs,

Re: No appetite 1mo post op? Hello Waistline!

as far as commercials go, PETA runs one down here with an old Willie Nelson song... I think it's Always On My Mind. Then they show these pictures of animals that have been abused, nothing short of horrific! I don't just tear up, it's gutteral sobs! Poor hubby dives for the remote at the first inkling it's coming on, lol!

I have lost a lot of my appetite as well, but I have plenty to spare. My doc has me on Estrace.... dunno maybe it's lower estrogen, or no progesterone so my body isn't asking for food. *shrug*
