4 wks tomorrow and no stitches out yet

I'll b 4 wks tomorrow and I haven't seen any stitches out yet! I had TVH uterus and cervix removed and had bladder repairs. I've read they usually come out during 3-4 wks post op...should I b worried? I have appt w/urologist tomorrow to remove catheter after having it for 4wks! So excited for that

During my entire recovery I only saw one stitch. I don't think everyone sees them. When you go for your post op check up your surgeon will most likely check to see if the stitches are gone and if you are healed.

I am 8 wks post op today and have only seen 2 stitches. One of which was only this past Sunday. I saw my doctor last Thursday and she said there are still a few left but that I was healing great. Going to see her in another month just to make sure they are all gone.

I'm 6 weeks and have saw one last Saturday and one just today. I have my checkup tomorrow and curious to see what things look like up there!

Ok so I don't feel like am the only one...thank u ladies!! Am curious also to see how things are healing in there..@ my 2 wk check up my dr prescribed a vaginal cream which I was like whaaat?! Is gonna hurt! Because I have to use an applicator to insert the cream! So that is the only thing going inside (wish it was something else ) Dr said that it was to keep the vaginal stitches and bladder stitches from connecting...good thing is only twice a week until my 6 wk post op

I saw none until I was 12 wks po and my dr gave me a treatment for granulation. I saw 2 after that!

I am almost 4 months post op and never saw any stitches ever. I started watching for them around 3 weeks post op, looked at the TP every time and looked inside my undies. Never saw one ever.I still check and nothing!
