4 days post hysterectomy & just started bleeding.

I was excited that I haven't bled at all but today I started. Not enough to soak pads or anything but still. Does that mean I'm doing too much? I'm hardly doing anything it seems. And now I'm also imagining/feeling more discomfort than earlier in my recovery.

Re: 4 days & just started bleeding

You can have bleeding without overdoing things physically, but do try and rest as much as possible.

Re: 4 days & just started bleeding

The 4 week mark is where I started feeling better AND was fed up by all of the restrictions and resting. So - I overdid. And then, I spotted more.

Do pay attention to your activity level. Increased spotting at that stage of the game typically means you are doing more than your body wants you to.

You are almost there! Hang in there! It gets so much better!

You have soooo much healing to do! Some light bleeding is normal. This whole thing is such a process. But if does increase or you pass clots call your dr.
