No physical examination after DaVinci?

The doctors have many different post op instructions! I am 3 weeks post op. I had my follow up yesterday. He said I can start taking a bath now and I can have sex in 2 to 4 weeks. He did do an internal exam, said everything was healing fine and I didn't need to be checked again!

I just had my two week yesterday after DaVinci and did have an internal exam, but I got the impression that if I hadn't had trouble with heavy bleeding the day before, she would have just examined the incisions and answered questions. She ended up applying silver nitrate to stop the bleeding. I am supposed to go back in 6 weeks.

When I went in after a week for my post-op he was not going to do an internal until he asked about bleeding. I was having an increase in bleeding so he did a quick check of the cuff. He will check it again at my 6 week check-up.
