Epidural & Scoliosis don't mix

I'm all for epidural pain management for those who can have it. Just a little something I discovered in my surgery experience. Even a very mild scoliosis curve in the spine can make an epidural impossible. My curve is very mild, yet those poor people worked for a long time trying to insert the epidural -- and never got it in. It was not a fun experience for me either, so I would just say no if I had it to do over again. I just wish someone had told me this before surgery. So I hope this helps someone else!

Everything else went smoothly and I am doing great!

Good luck to everyone and waiting really is the worst part.
