LAVH Exorcism completed!

I am feeling slightly embarrassed ! Had my LAVH yesterday! I have never been good with pain and yesterday was no different. My mom and hubby were waiting for my head to do the complete spin! I was not very nice to anyone...... Thank goodness today is 100 percent better. The nurse I had yesterday came in this morning to start her shift and I think she was scared to come to my room! When she did and asked how I was doing I told her much better and she said that pain and the anesteasia are rough! She was wonderful and I was so embarrassed. I just made it home !!!!

Speaking from the nurse point of view - no need to be embarrassed. You were the pt. You had pain and probably nausea and the anesthesia makes you not yourself. We know this. We get upset when it is the FAMILY that is mean and nasty to us and don't let us do our jobs.
