Does the Holiday season stress you out?

I usually get a bit stressed out but I love the holidays! This year I'm very stressed because I'm worried that I may not be able to cook my Thanksgiving dressing! I cooked the cornbread and celery/onions pre-op and froze them. So, the hard part is overwith. Thanksgiving is my 2 week mark, but I'm still having pain, weak and tired. I have so much to be thankful for this year! Christmas Day is my 6 week mark, so hopefully I'll be able to help baking cookies and get the shopping done quickly (and on-line) and enjoy my favorite Holiday! Blessings!

Does the Holiday season stress you out?

My husband & I decided not to cook. We ordered dinner with all the trimmings from a really great restaurant. Sister & family came over. No fuss!
I am only 2 weeks post op and didn't want to push it.

Does the Holiday season stress you out?

My lavh was November 12th so Christmas marks 6 weeks! I work in a large retail chain store. (24+years.) This is my first Christmas with any time off so I will enjoy these 6 weeks away from work! Less stress for sure! (Just wish I felt better. But it's only been 2 weeks.)

Does the Holiday season stress you out?

Over the years, holidays change and with them we do as well. I am happy with the changes to simplify my holidays and life. Expectations still tend to run high and that makes things stressful but the changes are good and with less to do it's better. It's my hope that the rest of the family will appreciate smaller things as years go by. Last year was a bit better than the first. Best wishes everyone, take care of you happy holidays
