recovery from hyterectomy on 3/12

had surgery on the 12th and ended up being completely done vaginally had the uterus and cervix removed when doc got in there my uterus was completely inverted...so he did it all vaginally....i don't have to go back for follow up for 4 weeks.. I am NOT having a very much pain either... nor am I having hardly any bleeding...doc said i had very little bleeding during surgery either... really thought I would hurt more , most of my pain is from having gas...the first night was pretty rough..but by the morning the pain was gone..it really was an easy surgery....the only reason i spent the night in the hospital was because i was having a hard time waking up and the surgery got under way later than scheduled..otherwise it wouldve been a day surgery...i really worried for nothing..i got the tummy support thingy from hystersisters.. it really makes a difference when walking around.. I hope the rest of my recovery goed this easy....

I think worrying about the surgery was way worse than anything else so far.

That's awesome. I haven't had too many issues either. :-) I only needed strong pain meds for one day. I've been taking Tylenol in the morning and at night, it does the trick so far.
