Internal Shaking

Hi everyone,
My TAH/BSO was done on 3/07. I am feeling great except for the Internal shaking. It wakes me up during the night. It is an awful feeling of shaking inside my body. I do not shake on the outside. I have asked my doctors and they look at me like i am nuts. My GYNO said it was from menopause, but offered no relief. Does anyone else suffer from this? I did have before the surgery too. I am 54, and take no HRT.

Thanks
Terry

Internal Shaking

I know it is a very common symptom of menopause from a menopause forum I go to. Sorry I don't recall what the gals suggest to control it but if you google "internal trembling menopause treatment" there are a few links with suggestions.

Feel better soon!

I am 52 snd take no HRT........and don't plan too because of having a sister who had ovarian cancer.....I had my ovaries removed as my doctor said I don't need them at my age......my hyster was because of large fibroids.........sometimes I wonder what is ahead with no hormones .but try not to worry

Internal Shaking

Hi,
I have had internal trembling and shaking for 10 years and have never had any breaks from it. The doctors lookeed at me as if I were crazy. I am still trying to find a cure. I am thinking about trying hormones again and see if that makes any difference. Hope we find a solution. I also, have dizziness that is driving me out of my mind.

I have them as I type. I had the bcp for seven months that controlled all of this crap and now I have to suffer at least through the surgery before I can find alternatives. Really I wish I was just full meno, I sit here thinking that this will go another 15 years. I can not stand this stuff. I am thankful for that small break I had but it makes it so much more difficult when I know something helped and I am unable to take it .
