Three weeks post-op

I am glad that this issue is being talked about by the other ladies in this site. I am three weeks post op, free from the early menopausal symptoms, weepy spells, night sweats, and insomnia............. Hubby and I are going to the Dr. appt tomorrow to get the o.k. from him . I also experienced nighttime arousal a few days after surgery, and found out that area is working just fine, on my own and with hubby's help........... However I am nervous about resuming full sexual activity with the Dh, but also looking forward to that as well. The advice in here has been a tremendous help to me before and after my surgery.

Ok, seeing as everyone is so brave, I'll throw in my 2 cents worth. I'm still a bit numb in there and so the full-on big O has not happened, but the little ones are good. The female ejaculation is increasing in volume. I thought that would be gone forever. I had a LAVH, everything out. I'm on HRT. Normal lube is better than before and I though it was good pre-surgery. I did get a bit crampy after sex, but considering all that they have done in there, it is good. Looking forward to more practice. Libido is OK. Not great, but it is there. I do have a vaginal cuff and I was scared the first time that it would come apart. While having sex the other day, I finally reached in to have a feel. I couldn't reach the cuff. I can feel it when not aroused, but it pulls up during sex. How cool is that? And even though I didn't have any vag work done, and in fact they converted my surgery to mostly "vaginal in a hurry" it is tighter than it used to be. Pleasant not painful tight. So apart from the numbness, everything is working really well.

I had LAVH Nov 12th 2008. My six week point was 2 days before Christmas.
Woohoooooooo Sex the first couple of times was a little painful but now things are getting back to normal. I still have plenty of lubrication and the orgasms are WONDERFUL!!!! The biggest plus is I don't have to take that monthly break.
