dVH/RALH: Question about shaving??

Not always at all! Believe it or not, there is a bit of controversy in the medical field on whether or not the pros of removing hair in surgical areas is worth the risks of removing said hair. Thus, two women going in with the exact same surgery and the exact same diagnosis may not have the same "hair removal" experience as her surgeon and medical facility will follow their own policies.

For my LAVH, none of my hair was cut, trimmed, removed, etc.

Heh, I was mostly bald save for a little area right above, and they totally shaved me while I was awake. It was rather embarassing. And it was odd because it was pure laproscopic, No davinci, no vaginal.

ah well. I keep it how they left it. Seems easier, haha.
