I have to fight eating compulsions too. I don't know where they're coming from. When I was still having battles with periods I would crave chocolate for a couple of days; now I feel like I'm still having those cravings, only at higher levels. Some days I just want to eat and eat. I'm trying not to give in to this driving need to chow but sometimes I admit that I do. I'm still with the 2 hour workouts, and I know that I have to feed my body if I'm making demands on it, but it doesn't seem to want to shrink whether I eat or not. So that makes it even harder to pass up chocolate or a piece of soda bread because I think, "If I'm not going to lose weight no matter what I do I might as well enjoy myself." I need to remap my brain somehow to discover how to handle this problem.

That need to eat all the time is a awful thing...

It isn't much help when you've always been able to be a home!!! Or if you have a DH that doesn't gain weight and snacks all nite long......CHIPS-COOKIES-ICE CREAM ......sometimes all in the same evening !!!!!!!

I've always had a sweet- vs- salty battle going on my whole life...Salty is what I lean to most now but it really makes me puff up and doesn't help the carpel tunnel either....

I've really been trying to stay away from that vicious cycle...and trying to drink water instead of anything else except lemon water...

I whole heartly believe in the theory of not eating after a certain time, but isn't as easy as it sounds either....

Maybe we all can be of some sort of support for each other....
