Questions before surgery?

Hi, I'm scheduling an exploratory laparoscopy and was told I should bring a list of questions with me to the pre-op appt. I don't know when my date will be set yet but I figured it's a good idea to prepare so I will be ready when the time comes I was thinking there was a resource on the site for pre op, but I think it's for actual hysterectomy surgery. This is just going to be a quick look around and hopefully minor repairs (removal of a cyst). I'm opting for this option due to pain that is getting progressively worse that I'm having a lot of trouble controlling with even prescription pain medicine. The only thing that the ultrasound showed was a cyst that is half fluid and half blood - it looks just like some pictures of endometriomas I found on the internet, but of course I'm not a Dr or an ultrasound tech! We are also checking to see if this pain may be caused by endometriosis. These are the questions I've come up with on my own:

1. Where will you look and what will you be looking for?
2. What sorts of things will you treat during lap?
3. Will you remove the cyst? Will you remove the ovary?
4. What sort of things will cause you to close me up and consult before going further?
5. How long will I be in the hospital?
6. How long will recovery take and what restrictions will I have?

Am I missing anything or is this a pretty good list? Figured I would throw this out there especially for those who have been there/done that for some perspective. I don't want to kick myself after appt for not asking something fairly obvious Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom!
