Im so glad to hear you are having such a good recovery!!!!! I hope I have the same that is how I see myself my doctor thinks Iwill. Im crossing my fingers.

Im starting to feel a cold coming on both my kids have runnynoses. Does anyone know if that can pose problems??? I hope not

Having a cold can affect surgery so it would be wise to call your doctor and let him know what is happening.

I am 9 weeks post op and feeling really good. I had a LAVC with the removal of my cervix and one ovary. All is well here on every front. I still have some discomfort when I pee, but all else is going really well. I do think that just having the one ovary is taking a little time to adjust. I say that "Laverne is trying to figure out what to do without "Shirley." I think it is just going to take some time. But everything you have said that will happen to you happened to me and all went really well in the hospital. When they took the cath. out I felt so much better and could get up and go to the bathroom fine. We (my DH and I) walked the halls and the more I walked the sooner I was ready to go home!

One recommendation I have is to drink Aloe Vera Juice every day and if you can take coral calcium and magnesium together before you go do bed. This was my regimen for weeks and it helped with gas, it helped with bms and just overall feeling better.

Walking around is really key to getting better faster if you are able.

Take care and I'll be thinking about you and praying for you on the 29th. Waiting is the worst part, yet keep in mind this is major surgery and allow yourself the time to heal and lay really low for as long as you can!

My doctor gave me zithromax (well the dr on call mine ws off at 430). For possible sinus infection because he said if I dont have antibiotics in my system 48 hours before surgery if i have any infection i have to postpone. So better safe tehn sorry i guess right?
