New to group, general questions

9 days post op TLH.

By day 8 things had been going really good, walked twice, 8blocks each (walked 2.25 daily pre-op) along with normal house activities. Then had some bright red bleeding though it was short lived, now on day 9 have brown mucky bleeding all day with mild cramps.

Anyone have a simular story.............Did I just do to much to fast??

Thanks for any responses.

Re: New to group, general questions

I had similar it's most likely the stitches healing that's what posts said in here. Mine did get heavier when I over did things, about week 3/4 the discharge was like your description and I felt rough aches pains and tired out.
But if you are worried always call the dr to check
But sounds normal to me, I had.TVH July 22 xxx my loss stopped just before week 6

Re: New to group, general questions

I had the same thing, the doctor said it was better to see the rusty brown colored blood than bright red. It means you are healing.

If you see a large amount of bright red blood, that means its fresh and you might want to consult your doctor.

I'm three weeks post op and still have the cramping, i think that's also normal.
