Minimal pre-op hysterectomy bowel prep?

Im having surgery on wednesday ay 11:30am. I had to start my liquid diet today and start bowel prep today had to do 1 bottle of mag citate then 2 bottles tomorrow. I was told to drink lots of water and gatorade. The bathroom is already becoming my 2nd home.

I didn't have to do bowel prep for surgery, but I recently had to do it for a colonoscopy. My pharmacist warned me that once the Pico-Salax got going, I'd be in the bathroom a while. So... I stocked it with a novel to read and a litre of chilled lime seltzer to drink! :-)

Ask your doc or t the ore op pt about the anti nausea patch.. it lasts 3 days and is placed behind your er.. I have gotten horribly sick from anastasia but not anymore ... they always give me the patch
