6 weeks post op and bleeding

I'm getting a little concerned... I am 6 weeks post op, and having bleeding issues... I haven't bled since 2 days after surgery, but about 1 time per week, I will have light red blood for about an hour, and I have old blood very frequently. Its not a lot, but enough to be annoying. Any advice?

Although discouraging, it is unfortunately normal. There is possibilities of spotting/bleeding for up to 8-12 weeks post op. Only thing of real concern is if its heavy,bright red, and soaks a pad in an hour. Best of luck to u.
